A lecture on "Yemen's Experience in Crisis Management"

As part of its activities, Sheba Center for Strategic Studies (SCSS) organized a lecture on "Yemen's Experience in Crisis Management". The lecture delivered by Dr. Nabil al-Sharjabi, the associate professor of economy and political science at Hudeida University.

 The lecture was delivered at SCSS's headquarters, on Monday, 18 June 2012, and focused on the following topics:

1. The concept of crisis and other similar meanings;

2. An overview of successful and unsuccessful crisis management: the case of Yemen; and

3. The ongoing events in Yemen: between the crisis trends and revolution.

The lecture, which a group of academics and researchers attended, is one of a series of lectures to be organized by SCSS during the current year 2012, and is intended to create a constructive dialogue and rich discussion with the policy makers on a variety of domestic important issues.
