The Center organizes a symposium on "The Real Situation of Mining in Yemen"

Energy Research and Development Program, Sheba Center for Strategic Studies, is organizing a symposium on "The Real Situation of Mining in Yemen," at Shahran Hotel, on Monday, 9 July 2012.

The symposium, which representatives of the government institutions, foreign mining firms and the private sector as well as other academics and researchers will attend, aims at examining the real situation of mining in Yemen and the obstacles and difficulties facing this sector. Also, it is intended to provide some suitable suggestions and recommendations for the mining sector which is one of the promising sectors in Yemen and an area of significant investments rendering it one of the most important alternatives to boost Yemen's economic growth. In addition, the symposium will explore how to invest in Yemen's distinguished geographical location on the global trade route and its implication for mining in Yemen.
